Mack E. Campbell, MPA, CFRE

Founder & Principal Consultant

Mack Campbell brings more than two decades of experience in philanthropy helping some of the most respected organizations in education, health, human services, civil rights, and economic mobility. He has raised more than $100 million, and has led large, high-performing development teams to achieve significant and sustained increases in revenue.

Starting his career in development operations, Mack has a keen appreciation for how systems and technology can support, or undermine, a fundraising program. That foundation shapes how he approaches every engagement, from the strategic to the tactical.

As a gift officer, he has managed major donor portfolios spanning multiple national markets, cultivated leadership-level relationships from first contact to transformational commitment, and grown revenue by double digits year over year.

As a team leader, he has coached and mentored development staff at every level, from coordinators building their first portfolios to senior gift officers closing six and seven-figure gifts. He builds cultures of accountability, ambition, and care, and has a particular gift for developing emerging fundraisers into confident, high-performing professionals.

He has also worked closely with boards to help them move from passive observers to active, enthusiastic fundraising partners, clarifying expectations, building confidence, and giving board members the tools they need to open doors and make meaningful introductions.

He has worked with families to inspire and shape their philanthropy, helping them move from generous impulse to intentional strategy. Whether advising on grantmaking priorities, facilitating family conversations about values and legacy, or vetting nonprofit partners on their behalf, Mack brings the same rigor and care to private philanthropy that he brings to institutional fundraising.

A frequent speaker on philanthropy, including multiple presentations at the AFP International Conference, the DFW Philanthropy Conference, and the Blackbaud Conference for Nonprofits. Mack is a recognized voice in the sector. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2015.
